The shadow grew around Alexander, the air becoming blacker than pitch and thicker than anything his lungs had ever encountered. He knew that if he did not get out of this fast he would be shredded into pieces as Danial had been only moments before. he struggled against the tug of the shadow, fighting with all his might to get free. But to no avail, and just as his strength stated to fail him a piercing beam of white hot light shot through the shadow. It dissipated instantly leaving Alexander crumpled on the ground, sun light flooded his vision as his eyes adjusted. As things came into focus he saw a figure silhouetted standing above him, "You really aught to be more careful, if I hadn't of come along when I did you'd be shadeling food right now." said a smooth female voice.
